GSL Education is looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a special school in Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a nurturing environment and support students with SEND.
About the Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:
- Providing one-on-one and group support for students with SEND, including SEMH and MLD.
- Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supporting the delivery of tailored lessons to meet individual student needs.
- Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to promote a collaborative learning experience.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
