GSL Education is looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a special school in Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a nurturing environment and support students with SEND.

About the Role:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Providing one-on-one and group support for students with SEND, including SEMH and MLD.
  • Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Supporting the delivery of tailored lessons to meet individual student needs.
  • Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to promote a collaborative learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
