Location: Romsey
Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join an outstanding school in Romsey. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a positive impact on their educational journey.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers to support students with a variety of learning needs. Your role will include providing one-to-one and small group support, assisting with lesson delivery, and helping students engage with the curriculum. AS a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will also work to create an inclusive environment where students feel valued, safe, and supported. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping young learners thrive.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to students with SEN, helping them engage with their learning.
- Work closely with the class teacher to ensure the needs of individual students are met.
- Assist with classroom management and help maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Foster social and emotional development by providing tailored support.
- Monitor and track student progress, reporting to teachers on development.
Requirements
- A strong passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and patient approach, with a desire to see each child succeed.
- A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
