Location: Locks Heath
Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play an essential role in helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) thrive in their educational journey. The role welcomes you to provide both individual and group support to children with diverse learning needs, as well as assist classroom teachers in adapting lessons and materials to meet individual requirements.
Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Provide personalised support to students with SEN in a classroom setting.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages learning.
- Work closely with individual pupils or small groups to meet their needs.
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies to support development.
Requirements for a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA):
- A passion for working with children with SEN and helping them succeed.
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm.
- A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
