Special Education Needs Teacher
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
contract Type: Permanent / Full time
Start Date: January 2025

Responsibilities:
As a Special Education Needs Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver tailored lessons for students with various SEN.

Work closely with the SENCO and other staff members to create and implement individual learning plans (ILPs).

Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Provide one-on-one or small group support for students who require extra help.

Assess and monitor students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.

Promote students' emotional and social development, ensuring their well-being.
Requirements:
To be successful in this Special Education Needs Teacher role, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience working with children with SEN (desirable).
-
A strong understanding of SEN and how to differentiate learning to meet individual needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach.
-
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to apply for one.
