Behaviour Support Worker 
Location: Weymouth 
Contract Type: Part/Full Time 
Rates: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour(Depending on experience) 
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Support Worker to join a supportive school community in Weymouth. This is your chance to contribute to the success of students who need a little extra guidance in their educational journey. 

Responsibilities: 

As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will: 

  • Work closely with teachers to support students with behavioural challenges. 

  • Provide one-to-one or small group assistance to help students engage with the curriculum. 

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. 

  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive behaviours. 

  • Encourage students to develop confidence, self-esteem, and resilience. 

  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other staff to address individual needs. 

 

Requirements: 

To excel as a Behaviour Support Worker, you should have: 

  • Previous experience working with children, especially those with challenging behaviours. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach. 

  • A genuine desire to support the educational and emotional development of young people. 

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
