GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Female PE Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Sheffield (S9). This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students and promote healthy, active lifestyles. With a competitive daily pay rate of up to £220, this role is ideal for passionate educators who are ready to make a difference.
As a PE Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Promote the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and well-being.
- Lead and participate in extracurricular sports activities and competitions.
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback.
- Maintain high standards of classroom and sportsmanship behaviour.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and ensure a well-rounded educational experience.
Responsibilities of the PE Teacher:
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment for all students.
- Encourage participation and enthusiasm in a wide range of sports and physical activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during lessons and activities.
- Contribute to school events and support the wider school community.
Requirements of the PE Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching PE to secondary school students is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, organised, and energetic approach to teaching.
- A commitment to inclusivity and encouraging every student to reach their potential.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
