Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets
Hours: 8.30-3.45pm
Contract Type: Long term and full time
Start Date: 6th January 2025
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Do you have a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated school in Tower Hamlets.
Key Responsibilities of SEMH Teaching Assistant:
- Provide individual and group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Assist in planning and delivering personalised and inclusive lessons.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to staff and parents.
Requirements for the role of SEMH Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs is preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage challenging situations.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
