Food Technology Teacher
Location: Pontefract (WF7)
Start date: Immediate
Payrate: £140 to £190 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

Responsibilities:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in food technology to students of varying abilities.

Inspire a love for cooking and nutrition, encouraging creativity and practical skills.

Prepare students for assessments and examinations in line with the curriculum.

Maintain a safe and organised classroom and kitchen environment.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Food Technology Teacher, you must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching food technology at secondary school level.

Strong knowledge of the food and nutrition curriculum.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
-
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to apply for one.
