Job Title: Geography Teacher 

Location: Hull 

Pay Scale: £33,075 - £50,471 per annum (Depending on experience) 

Start Date: January 2025

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Key Responsibilities of Geography Teacher: 

-        Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that align with the national curriculum. 

-        Encourage students to think critically about environmental, cultural, and economic issues. 

-        Use innovative teaching methods to make Geography accessible and enjoyable for all learners. 

-        Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. 

-        Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive. 

Geography Teacher Requirements: 

-        Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. 

-        Specialisation in Geography with a strong understanding of curriculum requirements. 

-        Previous experience teaching Geography at secondary school level. 

-        Strong communication and classroom management skills. 

-        A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
