Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher 

Location: Hull 

Pay Scale: £33,075 - £50,471 per Annum (Depending on experience) 

Start Date: January 2025

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Key Responsibilities of Design and Technology Teacher: 

-        Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in line with the design and technology curriculum. 

-        Teach a range of topics, including design principles, practical skills, and modern technologies. 

-        Encourage students to think critically, solve problems, and apply their knowledge creatively. 

-        Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. 

-        Maintain a safe and well-organised learning environment, ensuring proper use of tools and equipment. 

Requirements for the role of Design and Technology Teacher: 

-        Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. 

-        Specialisation in Design and Technology with strong subject knowledge. 

-        Previous experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary school level. 

-        Excellent classroom management and communication skills. 

-        A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
