Key Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant: 

-        Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to students with additional needs. 

-        Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons. 

-        Promote an inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported. 

-        Help with the preparation of resources to meet individual student needs. 

-        Monitor and report on student progress and well-being. 

Requirements for the role of Learning Support Assistant: 

-        Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. 

-        Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students and staff. 

-        A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting learners. 

-        Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures. 

-        Relevant qualifications in educational support or a related field are advantageous.
