Teacher of Business
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Salary: MPS/UPS3; £31,650 - £49,084 per annum
Start Date: January 2025

Teacher of Business Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and promote active learning.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic development.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying abilities and learning styles.
- Stay updated on changes in the field of business and incorporate relevant industry examples and case studies into teaching
Teacher of Business Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Studies or a related field.
- Be committed to child protection, safeguarding, and pupil welfare.
- PGCE with QTS or other UK recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting. This may be gained through teaching placements during teacher training or through prior teaching roles.
- In-depth knowledge of business studies concepts, theories, and current business practices.
- Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
