Job Title: General Supply Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70)
Pay Scale: £140 - £190 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time
Do you enjoy the flexibility of supply teaching, offering support across various subjects? GSL Education are looking for a dedicated General Supply Teacher to join schools in Barnsley. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver pre-set lessons, support student learning, and contribute to a positive classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons across different subjects.
- Ensure that students remain focused and engaged during lessons.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a respectful learning atmosphere.
- Provide feedback on students’ progress to the school staff.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Confidence to teach across various subjects and year groups.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to different school settings.
