Job Title: SEND Primary Teacher
Location: Camberwell, London
Salary Range: £38,766 - £60,092 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Are you an experienced SEND Primary Teacher ready to make a difference?
GSL Education are seeking a committed and passionate SEND Primary Teacher to join a specialist school in Camberwell, London. This full-time position offers an immediate start and excellent pay rates, providing a fantastic opportunity to support and inspire children with special educational needs.
As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will deliver tailored and engaging lessons to primary-aged students with a range of special educational needs. You will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters personal growth and academic progress.
Responsibilities as a SEND Primary Teacher:
- Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of SEND students.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and support staff.
- Build strong relationships with students to encourage confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to provide a holistic approach to education.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to stakeholders.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that adheres to safeguarding protocols.
Requirements for the SEND Primary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs in a primary setting.
- Strong understanding of a range of SEND, including autism, learning difficulties, and sensory needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational experie

- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
