SEN Learning Support
Location: Waterlooville
Rate: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support to join a dynamic school in Waterlooville. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in overcoming challenges and achieving their full potential.
About the Role
As an SEN Learning Support, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with special educational needs. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs), providing one-on-one and group support, and helping students develop essential skills for both academic and personal success.
Key Responsibilities of SEN Learning Support
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
- Provide targeted support to students with special educational needs.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt and deliver lessons that meet the needs of SEN students.
- Monitor and record students’ progress and development.
- Work with external professionals, such as speech and language therapists and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive support.
Requirements of SEN Learning Support
- Previous experience as an SEN Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs are desirable.
To work with GSL Education as an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will need:
- The right to work in the UK.
- An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- A DBS registered to the update service or is willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
