Cover Supervisor
Location: Winton
Salary: £85 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent / Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate/January
GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Cover Supervisor to join an outstanding school in Winton. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that students continue to receive excellent education in the absence of their regular teacher. About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a class of students while their regular teacher is absent. You will ensure that pre-set work is completed and students are supported in maintaining focus and productivity throughout the lesson. You’ll be working closely with teachers to support classroom activities and foster a positive learning environment. This role is ideal for those who are looking to make a real impact in the classroom and contribute to the smooth running of a school.
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise classes and ensure students complete their pre-set work.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment by managing student behaviour.
- Provide support to students and help them stay focused on tasks.
- Liaise with teachers and staff to ensure effective delivery of lessons.
- Support the learning needs of all students in the classroom.
Requirements for a Cover Supervisor:
- Previous experience in a classroom setting or as a Cover Supervisor is preferred but not essential.
- A good understanding of classroom management techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students.
- The ability to adapt to various teaching styles and lesson plans.
- A passion for education and helping students achieve their best.
