SEN Teacher
Location: Winton
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent / Full-Time
Start Date: January 2025

About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment. You will design and deliver personalised lesson plans that foster academic, social, and emotional growth. Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external agencies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans and EHCPs.
  • Promote the emotional well-being and confidence of all learners.

Requirements for a SEN teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A creative, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development.
