Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and enhancing the learning experience for all students. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, providing individualised support to students and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Level 2 Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students, particularly those who need extra help.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support the teacher in assessing students' progress and providing feedback.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
- Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and attendance monitoring.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring the well-being of all students.
- Participate in school events, meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Uphold the school’s policies and procedures, promoting a culture of respect and responsibility.
Level 2 Teaching Assistant Job Requirements:
- A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A patient and empathetic approach, with a genuine passion for supporting students' learning and development.
- Effective organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about educational best practices.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
