Location: Totton
Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a key role in helping students with additional needs access the curriculum, build confidence, and thrive in their learning environment. Working closely with teachers and other support staff, you will provide one-to-one and group assistance, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each child.
Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Provide tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs in a classroom setting.
- Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt lesson plans and resources.
- Offer emotional and social support to students to help them build resilience.
- Help monitor and document students' progress.
- Provide personal care when necessary, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Role:
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is highly desirable.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the classroom environment.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
