SEN Support Worker 
Location: Southbourne 
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour (Depending on experience) 
Start date: Immediate 
Contract type: Full Time/Part time

Responsibilities: 

As an SEN Support Worker, your role will include: 

  • Providing one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, helping them achieve their learning goals. 

  • Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs). 

  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. 

  • Supporting students with personal care needs, where required. 

  • Encouraging emotional and social development through a nurturing approach. 

  • Monitoring student progress and maintainingaccurate records for reporting. 

Requirements: 

To succeed in this SEN Support Worker role, you will need: 

  • A genuine desire to support children with SEN and help them thrive. 

  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with additional needs (desirable but not essential). 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible attitude towards working with children. 

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
