SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Blandford
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour(Depending on experience)
Start date: Immediate
Contract type: Full Time/Part time

GSL Education are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and supportive school in Blandford. This fulfilling role provides an incredible opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with additional needs.
Responsibilities:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support students with SEN in their academic, social, and emotional development.

Work closely with teachers and the SENCo to implement personalised learning plans.

Provide one-on-one or small group support tailored to individual student needs.

Foster an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

Assist in managing behaviour and encouraging positive interactions.

Monitor progress and provide feedback to support student development.
Requirements:
To excel as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should have:

A passion for supporting children with SEN and a desire to make a difference.

Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with additional needs (advantageous).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children.

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to apply for one.
