Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Poole
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour (Depending on experience)
Start date: Immediate
Contract type: Full Time/Part time

Responsibilities:
As a Behaviour Support Worker, your role will involve:

Supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties to engage in learning.

Building strong, trusting relationships with students to promote positive behaviour.

Assisting teachers in managing classroom behaviour and implementing behaviour management strategies.

Offering one-on-one or small group support tailored to individual student needs.

Helping students develop emotional regulation, resilience, and self-confidence.

Monitoring and reporting on behavioural progress and providing feedback to staff.
Requirements:
To succeed as a Behaviour Support Worker, you should have:

A genuine commitment to helping children and young people succeed.

Experience working with children with behavioural or emotional challenges (desirable but not essential).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A calm, patient, and solution-focused approach to behaviour management.

The ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
