Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Blandford
Pay Scale: £85 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full Time/Part Time
Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding role? GSL Education are seeking a reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a school in Blandford. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience by supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with pre-set work.
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Support students with their learning and provide additional help where needed.
- Ensure classroom behaviour is managed effectively.
- Liaise with teaching staff to provide feedback on student progress.
Cover Supervisor Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with students is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
