Science Teacher
Location: Worksop (S80)
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time.
Salary: £140 to £190 per day. (Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will have the responsibility of delivering high-quality science lessons to students at secondary level. Your role will involve creating engaging and interactive lessons, assessing student progress, and providing the necessary support to ensure students achieve their full potential in all areas of science. You will work closely with a dedicated team to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Science Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them reach their potential.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure the successful delivery of the curriculum.
  • Encourage student engagement and a love for science.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified Science Teacher with QTS.
  • Previous teaching experience in Science at secondary level is preferred.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students in science.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
