Primary Teacher
Location: Weymouth
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on Experience)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Start Date: January 2025

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the national curriculum to a diverse group of students, fostering a love for learning while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. This position offers an opportunity to lead with innovation, contribute to the school’s academic success, and support the personal development of each pupil.
As a Primary Teacher, Your Responsibilities will be:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum and key stages, tailored to the needs of all students.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and creativity.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Promote positive behaviour and social interaction, fostering mutual respect and a strong sense of community.
- Engage with parents and carers, maintaining open communication to support student progress and well-being.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, promoting holistic development and enriching the school experience.
Qualifications & Skills we need:
- QTS or relevant qualifications such as QTLS, PGCE, etc., is required.
- A degree in education or a similar field is required.
- Proven experience teaching at the primary level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for nurturing student potential.
- A commitment to professional development and collaborative working.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
- Possess a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
