SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day. (Depending on experience)
Contract: Full Time

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will be pivotal in helping students with additional learning needs thrive both academically and personally. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support that caters to the individual needs of each student, ensuring they feel encouraged and valued.
Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Assist students with special educational needs during lessons and activities.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to help students reach their potential.
- Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of SEN students.
- Monitor and report on student progress to ensure their development is on track.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage confidence and independence.
Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive educational environment.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
