SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract: Full Time

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a nurturing environment where every student feels valued and can succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN in the classroom.
- Assist in adapting lesson plans and resources to meet individual learning needs.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Support students with communication, social, and emotional skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to monitor and track student progress.
- Manage challenging behaviours in line with school policies and strategies.
- Help with personal care needs if required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) or in a similar role is desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and resourceful in challenging situations.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
