Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural and emotional needs. You will work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and other professionals to help students overcome challenges, develop positive behaviours, and engage fully with their education.
Key Responsibilities for the Behaviour Support Assistant:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with behavioural needs.
- Implement personalised strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Work closely with teachers to adapt lessons and create an inclusive environment.
- Help students develop self-regulation, social, and communication skills.
- Monitor and report on student progress to relevant staff.
- Manage challenging behaviours calmly and effectively, following the school’s policies.
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Behaviour Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
- A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of individual students.
