Newly Qualified Teacher
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Start date: January 2025
Salary: £125 - £160
per day

GSL Education's North Yorkshire branch is actively recruiting for Newly Qualified Teacher in York for supply, short-term, mid-term, and long-term positions starting in January 2025. We are looking for Early Career Teacher or Newly Qualified Teacher across a variety of subjects, according to the requirements of our client schools for long-term placements and daily supply.

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant degree.
  • Achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through an accredited Initial Teacher Training (ITT) program.
  • Complete a two-year induction program.
  • Undergo regular observations and assessments by mentors and school leaders.
  • Follow an ECT-specific CPD plan that includes training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for a new one.
