Contract: Full Time/Part Time
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour (Depending on experience)

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning. You will work alongside teachers and other staff to ensure that students can access the curriculum effectively. Your role will involve providing one-to-one support, as well as assisting in small groups, to help students succeed and reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities for the Learning Support Assistant:

  • Support students with their learning needs, both individually and in small groups.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Help students develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Provide personal care and guidance where necessary.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Adapt learning materials and activities to support diverse learning styles.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to supporting students in achieving their full potential.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude to meet the needs of different students.
