Salary: £87 - £108 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:
As an ASD Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with students who have ASD, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. You’ll assist the classroom teacher in creating a structured, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every child can succeed.
Responsibilities of an ASD Teaching Assistant - Primary:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with ASD.
- Help implement personalised education plans (PEPs) and behavioural strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a calm environment.
- Encourage independence and confidence in students.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
Requirements for the ASD Teaching Assistant - Primary Role:
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred.
- A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the teaching team and other staff.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
