Location: Bournemouth Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are looking for an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join outstanding schools in Bournemouth. This role offers the flexibility of day-to-day and long-term contracts, with both part-time and full-time options available.
About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a key role in supporting students with a variety of learning needs. You will assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, helping students to achieve their academic and personal potential. Your role will be vital in ensuring that every student receives the attention and support they need to thrive in the classroom.
Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant:
· Support students with SEN on a one-to-one and small group basis.
· Assist teachers with the preparation and delivery of differentiated lessons.
· Promote inclusion by creating a supportive learning environment.
· Help students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
· Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
· Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their academic and personal growth.
· Work collaboratively with the SENCO and other staff to create individual learning plans.
Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
· Experience working with students with special educational needs is desirable.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
· Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to working with SEN students.
· Commitment to promoting safeguarding and student welfare.
