Position: Year 4 Class Teacher 
Location: South Ockendon
Salary: £125 - £240 per day (£24,375 - £46,800), depending on experience and qualifications! 
Contract Type: Full-time (part time available)  

Start date: January (or earlier if available)  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Curriculum Delivery: As a Year 4 Class Teacher you will plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum, fostering a love for learning among students. 

 

  1. Differentiated Instruction: Tailor teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged appropriately. 

 

  1. Classroom Management: As a Year 4 Class Teacher you will create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to achieve their best. 

 

  1. Assessment and Feedback: Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies as necessary. 

 

  1. Collaborative Planning: As a Year 4 Class Teacher you will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that enhance the overall learning experience for students. 

 

  1. Parental Engagement: Establish open and effective communication channels with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and opportunities for parental involvement. 

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and ideally with experience teaching in KS2. 

  • Thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. 

  • Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a passion for delivering high-quality education. 

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive school culture.
