Role: SEMH Primary Teacher
Location: Dinnington
Salary: £150 to £230 per day

The Role:
In this role, you will work closely with primary-aged students who experience a range of SEMH challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Individualised Support: Develop and implement personalised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of your students, helping them engage with the curriculum and reach their potential.
  2. Progress Monitoring: Continuously assess and track student progress, sharing insights with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure their development is fully supported.
  3. Emotional Support: Create a nurturing and secure environment, providing emotional guidance to help students manage anxieties and behavioural difficulties.
  4. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with staff, parents, and external professionals to foster a cohesive support network for each student.
  5. Inclusion: Champion inclusivity by promoting a school culture where all students feel valued and supported in their learning journey.

Requirements:
• Experience as an SEMH Primary Teacher or in a similar role within primary education.
• A strong understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to support young learners.
• Empathy, patience, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with SEMH challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and work collaboratively as part of a team.
