Learning Support Assistant
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day(Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work at an alternative provision in Scunthorpe. If you have experience with special educational needs (SEN) and are ready to make a real difference, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide individual and small-group support to students with SEN.

Help create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programmes.

Build strong relationships with students to encourage confidence and engagement.

Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to meet the needs of each student.
Requirements:
To succeed as a Learning Support Assistant, you will need:

Experience working with children with SEN (essential).

Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different needs.

Good communication skills and a proactive approach.

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
