Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)

About the Role:
As an Autism Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them overcome barriers to daily living and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and inclusive setting.
Key Responsibilities of Autism Support Worker:
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized support plans for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Monitor and assess progress, providing feedback to relevant parties and adjusting support strategies as necessary.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to share insights and strategies for supporting each individual’s well-being.
- Help foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where all individuals feel valued and included.
- Employ different techniques and materials to cater to the diverse needs of individuals.
- Keep detailed notes on each individual’s development and communicate this information to relevant parties.
Requirements of Autism Support Worker:
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the community.
- Deep commitment to helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), exhibiting patience and empathy.
- Additional qualifications or training in special education or support work are advantageous but not mandatory.
To work with us as an Autism Support Worker, you will need:
- The right to work in the UK.
- An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one.
