Location: Camden
Salary: £150 - £210 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will create a stimulating learning environment, develop lesson plans that meet curriculum standards, and use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. Your role will also involve assessing students’ progress, providing feedback, and supporting their academic and personal development. You will work closely with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities of Primary Teacher

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Teach a range of subjects to students aged 5-11.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
  • Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.

Requirements of Daily Supply Teacher - Primary

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar teaching role, preferably in a primary setting.
  • Prior experience in teaching or supporting students with special educational needs is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

To work with GSL Education as a Primary Teacher, you will need:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
