Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full Time/Part Time

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, fostering their personal growth and helping them thrive in their educational journey.
Responsibilities
As a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:
- Supporting students with SEMH needs to develop their confidence and engagement in learning.
- Assisting the teacher in creating a calm and structured classroom environment.
- Providing one-on-one and small-group interventions to support emotional and behavioural development.
- Implementing individual behaviour plans and tracking progress.
- Building trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
To be a successful SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs (advantageous but not essential).
- A caring and resilient personality, with a passion for supporting children.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students.
- The ability to remain calm and flexible in challenging situations.
