Teaching Assistant

Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start date: Immediate
Contract type: Full Time/Part time
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school in Dorchester. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be vital in supporting students to achieve their full potential in educational activities and daily routines.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Support students in learning activities, ensuring they understand and complete their tasks.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Prepare learning materials and resources under the direction of the teacher.
- Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback to teachers.
As a Teaching Assistant, you should have:
- Previous experience working in a school setting or relevant qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and empathetic approach to working with children.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
