Job Title: Disability Teaching Assistant

Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full Time/Part Time

This role involves working closely with teachers and students to provide tailored support, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
As a Disability Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students with disabilities in their academic and personal development.
- Assisting teachers in delivering lessons that cater to the individual needs of students.
- Providing one-on-one or small-group support to ensure all students can access the curriculum.
- Encouraging and promoting independence in learning and daily activities.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create tailored learning plans.
Requirements
To succeed as a Disability Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have experience working with children with disabilities or additional needs (preferred but not essential).
- Be patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with students.
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Hold a relevant qualification or be willing to undergo training.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
