SEMH Teacher
Location: Winton
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
contract Type: Permanent / Full time

As an SEMH Teacher, you will play a key role in educating and supporting children, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our mission is to connect compassionate and skilled individuals with schools where they can make a real difference.
Responsibilities for SEMH Teacher:
· Develop and implement education plans for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
· Liaise with teachers, school staff, and external professionals to provide comprehensive support.
· Conduct regular assessments to identify students' needs and monitor their progress.
· Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEMH challenges.
· Maintain detailed records of student progress and the support provided.
· Facilitate workshops and training sessions on SEMH awareness and effective support strategies.
· Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students.
Requirements for SEMH Teacher:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
· Prior experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
· Strong understanding of SEMH issues and effective teaching strategies.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
To work with GSL as a SEMH Teacher, you should:
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
