Salary Range: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Special Educational Needs Learning Support to join a dynamic school in Cosham.
Role Overview:
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs by offering tailored assistance in both individual and group settings. Your key responsibility will be to ensure that students can actively participate in lessons and feel confident in their learning. You will collaborate with teachers and other school staff to maintain an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities of the SEN Learning Support:
- Provide targeted one-to-one and small group assistance to students with SEN.
- Help students engage with the curriculum and complete tasks that align with their individual needs.
- Support the teacher in delivering lessons that are adapted to suit the learning styles of each student.
- Track and monitor students' progress, adjusting support as needed to ensure success.
- Work alongside other education professionals, such as SENCOs, to ensure that students receive high-quality, individualized support.
What We Are Looking for in The SEN Learning Support:
- Previous experience working with students who have SEN is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A compassionate and patient approach when supporting children with additional learning needs.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- An up-to-date CV and an enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Competitive Pay: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on Experience).
