Pay Rate: £150 - £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time

About the Role:

As a Maths ECT, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive learning environment where students can develop their mathematical skills and confidence. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to launch your teaching career with the support and guidance necessary to excel.

Maths Early Career Teacher Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.

Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in mathematics.

Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and respect.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training to continually improve your teaching practice.

Maths Early Career Teacher Job Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, or equivalent) with a specialism in Mathematics.
  • Newly qualified or early career teacher status with a strong foundation in teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Willingness to work on a casual basis with availability to cover at short notice.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
