Salary: £150 - £220 per day. (Depending on experience)

About the Role
As an ASD Teacher, you will support students with ASD in a mainstream secondary school setting. You will help these students access the curriculum and create a positive, structured environment where they can thrive. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher to work in an inclusive and supportive school environment that values the unique potential of every student.
Responsibilities of the ASD Teacher:
- Deliver tailored lessons to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to support their academic and social development.
- Create a positive, structured learning environment where all students feel safe and supported.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, teaching assistants, and staff to ensure the individual needs of students are met.
- Implement effective strategies for behaviour management and learning support.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide regular feedback to both students and their families.
- Support students in their social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements for the ASD Teacher Role:
- Proven experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a teaching role.
- A relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of special educational needs, particularly ASD.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of students with ASD.
- A genuine commitment to supporting students and providing an inclusive learning environment.
- Availability to start ASAP and work full-time on either daily supply or long-term basis.
