Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:

  • Teach Science to students in KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions.

Requirements of a Science Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Science Teacher in a secondary school.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for science.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
