About the Role
As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure that examinations are conducted in accordance with school policies and awarding body regulations. You will be responsible for creating a calm environment to help students perform their best and maintaining the integrity of the exam process.
This is an exciting opportunity to support students at a critical time in their academic journey while gaining valuable experience in an educational setting.
Responsibilities of the Exam Invigilator:
- Oversee the exam process to ensure compliance with regulations and school guidelines.
- Distribute and collect examination materials efficiently and accurately.
- Provide clear instructions to students and address their questions or concerns.
- Monitor students during exams to prevent cheating or distractions.
- Handle any incidents calmly and professionally while reporting them appropriately.
Requirements for the Exam Invigilator Role:
- Punctuality, reliability, and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow strict procedures.
- A professional and calm demeanour under pressure.
- Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator is desirable but not essential.
- Flexibility to work during exam periods starting in March 2025.
