About the Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that cover various aspects of mathematics, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of Maths Teacher

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics.
  • Teach a range of subjects to students in Key Stage 3 (Ages 11-14) and Key Stage 4 (Ages 14-16).
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and industry standards in mathematics.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Support students in developing practical skills and theoretical knowledge in mathematics.

Requirements of Maths Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and industry standards in mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
