Location: Folkestone
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Part-time (Until End of the Academic Year)

As a Teacher of Politics, you will have the opportunity to inspire motivated Year 12 students, helping them explore key political theories, systems, and debates.

As a Teacher of Politics, your role will include:

  • Delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons in politics tailored for Year 12 students.
  • Exploring diverse political systems, ideologies, and current affairs to enhance students' understanding.
  • Encouraging students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and informed opinions.
  • Providing constructive feedback on students' progress to support their academic development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriching learning experience.

To be considered for the Teacher of Politics role, you must:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification (such as QTLS or PGCE). Overseas-trained teachers are encouraged to apply.
  • Have a degree in Politics, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Politics, particularly to post-16 students, is preferred.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for political education.
  • Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to creating an engaging learning environment.
