SEND Teacher
Location: Totton
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time
Start Date: January 2025

Responsibilities:
As a SEND Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.

Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.

Establish a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Use adaptive teaching strategies to engage students and encourage their academic and personal growth.

Monitor, evaluate, and report on the progress of students.

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for every student.
Requirements:
As a SEND Teacher, you should have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching students with SEND.

Strong knowledge of SEND teaching strategies and differentiated learning techniques.

Experience working with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and sensory impairments.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.

A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to teaching.

A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
